NAT faculty members work together and with our students to promote and encourage the safe teaching and practice of natural alternative therapies, worldwide.
Through research, coursework, and virtual interactions, students and faculty learn from and challenge each other on a daily basis.

Dr Constance Bradley
Dr Constance Bradley L.Ac. PhD, attended the US Air Force Academy receiving a Bachelor of Science in Humanities in 2001. In 2002, she graduated from the University of Colorado receiving a Master of Arts in Philosophy with an emphasis in Medical Ethics. In 2009 she received a Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Utah with emphases in Philosophy of Science and Theoretical Biology.
Constance attended the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture and received a Master of Arts in Acupuncture in 2015.
Constance has published in the Journal of Alternative and Complimentary Medicine, the Sage, and the Feng Shui Journal.
Constance is licensed to practice acupuncture from the state of Kentucky and has her national certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Dr Linda Bluestein MD
Board-certified anesthesiologist, integrative pain medicine physician and former ballet dancer, Linda Bluestein, M.D., specializes in treating dancers and other athletes at increased risk of hypermobility disorders.
Dr. Bluestein completed her anesthesiology residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine after receiving her Medical Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine and is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science, the Performing Arts Medicine Association, and the Resources Committee for the Dance Healthy Alliance of Canada.
As a leading specialist in connective tissue disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes (EDS), Dr. Bluestein is the Director of Education for the nonprofit, EDS Wellness and serves as an assistant professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she is the course director for the RISHI Healer’s Art Program.

Erica Suter MSc
Erica Suter is a former college and professional soccer player who has spent the last decade creating a reputation as a leading and highly respected Youth Speed, Agility, Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Based in Tampa, Florida , Erica has a large online presence where she is well known as the Fit Soccer Queen. She is also the author of The Strong Female Athlete book, which is both a science and experience-based text with a fresh, novel approach for youth female athletes to improve speed, reduce injury, and increase performance.
Erica received her Master of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Performance Enhancement, from John Hopkins University Baltimore. She holds a USSF “C” License; NSPA Certified Speed And Agility Coach; Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS); and is a USA Weight-Lifting Sports Performance Coach (USAW Level 1).

Phillipa Butler PT MSCP
Phillipa Butler, is a Chartered Physiotherapist with many years of experience in the NHS and private sector helping people recover from accidents, illness or injury. Her passion is teaching and Phillipa loves working with people to help them exercise in a correct, safe and effective way and discover the life enhancing power of movement.
Phillipa is a Certified Pilates Mat and Reformer teacher, Certified Hatha Yoga and meditation teacher and she uses her many and varied skills to generate and enhance well-being.

Dr Jonathan Kuttner MD
Dr. Jonathan Kuttner M.D. is a chronic pain specialist who is widely recognized as a leading authorty on the subject of trigger points.
When not treating or teaching, Jonathan is likely hiking in the hills around his home in New Zealand, hang gliding off cliffs, or practicing Aikido.
In 2016 Jonathan received a lifetime achievement award from the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists (NAMTPT).

Priscilla Fleming LMBT
Priscilla Fleming is clinically certified in neuromuscular and structural bodywork and the author of A Bodyworkers Guide to Soft Tissue Patterns.
In addition to her teaching roles with NAT and the NC School of Massage, she regularly appears as a keynote speaker and was recently featured in Massage Magazine.
Priscilla teaches about Ethics and Safety, an area that she is passionate about. Her online CE course will be available shortly on this platform to purchase and free to members.

Karen Vizueta BSc
Karen Vizueta holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Rhode Island. She has the following fitness certifications; STOTT Pilates Mat; Reformer, NASM CPT, AFAA Primary Group Exercise, AFAA Step, TRX, BOSU Kids, and Precision Nutrition L1. She is also trained in Balanced Body Jumpboard, Power House Pilates Integrated Tower, IMX Pilates Mat & Reformer.
In addition to her work as a fitness coach she is a regular contributor of articles on wellness and has been featured on Cosmopolitan.com and feedspot.com.

Mike McGurn BSc
In 2002 Mike joined the Ireland Rugby team as Head of Strength and Conditioning after being head-hunted by Eddie O’Sullivan. In his tenure of 8 years he totally revolutionized the training structures and systems of the squad laying the foundations for what has become the most successful Irish Team ever.
Mike is widely considered as one of the best strength and conditioning coaches in the business.

Maureen Abson LMT
Maureen is one of the originators of Fusion Massage Technique, combining fascial release and deep tissue massage with a structured focus on treating the hands, feet and head to release tension in the rest of the body. When not writing or teaching, Maureen runs retreat workshops in the USA and Indonesia.
Maureen has spent over 25 years teaching in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mauritius, South Africa, and Israel.

Stuart Hinds LMT
Stuart is a lecturer at Victoria University, Melbourne, where he teaches Soft Tissue Techniques.
Stuart works primarily with elite athletes and has been part of the Australian Olympic manual therapy team for over 20 years (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, London 2012).
In 2018, Stuart received a lifetime achievement award from the Australian Association of Massage Therapy.

Dr Joi Edwards PhD PT
Dr Joi Edwards is a physical therapist and massage therapist with extensive experience in orthopedics and manual therapy. She is an accomplished writer who regularly contributes articles in the media covering health and wellness matters.
As an educator, Dr Joi is known for empowering therapists with her highly entertaining and engaging style of teaching.

Andy Eckley LMT
Andy is a human and equine therapist, with a passion for trigger point therapy, and the discovery of new techniques for the treatment of animals. When Andy isn't teaching or treating, he spends much of his time working on film sets as an animal safety representative for the American Humane Association.
Andy has successfully adapted a number of NAT techniques for the treatment of horses.

Vianca Arias BA
Vianca is our social and digital media guru and online ambassador. Her passion is helping individuals and businesses find their way online, create a presence on social media, and increase engagement with clients, followers, subscribers, and readers.
In addition to completing her media and communications studies at Broward College in Florida, Vianca is the co-founder of Thirsty Bartenders, an online mixology show, and has been producing online content for more than a decade.

Paul Townley MSc PT
Paul holds a Masters Degree (MSc) in Neuromusculoskeletal medicine, and is a member of the Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the International Federation of Manipulative Therapy. Paul is qualified as an ESP (Extended Scope Practitioner) and a university lecturer and teacher in the United Kingdom.
In a career spanning more than two decades Paul has worked with elite athletes (including Physiotherapist for Crystal Palace FC - EPL) and has provided specialist physiotherapy services and consultancy to the military.

Vicki Ramsdell LMT
Vicki is an adjunct professor of Thai Medical Massage & Cupping at the New York Institute of Massage in Buffalo, Onondaga School of Massage in Rochester & Syracuse, and is a core teacher for the L.M.T Success Group.
Combining the knowledge of Cupping learned in the east with classes through International Cupping Therapy Association, Vicki has developed a unique Cupping system that combines Thai, TCM and Modern Cupping techniques.

Dani Marks MSc ADLI
Dani holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a Masters Degree (MSc) in Business and Organisational Leadership, and is a former Varsity Soccer Captain of Penn State where he played in the Big Ten Conference for 4 seasons.
In addition to captaining the team for 3 years, Dani was the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award (2016); Big Ten Sportsmanship Award (2017); and All Big Ten Academic Award (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018).
Dani regularly lectures and presents on campuses regarding issues concerning athletes and mental health. He is also the host of the podcast Treatment Room Secrets.

Heidi Seaton DVM LMT
In addition to being an NCBTMB certified massage therapist, Heidi is also a licensed and federally accredited veterinarian and is certified in veterinary acupuncture.
Heidi specialises in proof reading and editing of medical documents and has been NAT Education Editor-in-Chief since 2017. When not treating humans, animals or editing texts, Heidi can be found running in Connecticut where as a member of the Run 169 Towns Society she has so far run a road race in 84 Connecticut towns.

Anthony Berlingeri
Yoga Alliance Certified Instructor specializing in vinyasa yoga, meditation and breathworkpart of the mindfulness faculty for Hamilton Health Sciences/McMaster University
For over a decade Anthony has designed and instructed mindfulness programs for school boards, colleges, health care professionals, large corporations, non profits, and for top health and wellness brands and individuals around the world, including Lululemon, the worlds largest yoga brand.

Steph Hnatiuk BSc RD
Steph has over 10 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and Fitness Coach and has helped thousands of people improve their running performance, body composition, and develop a better relationship with food and exercise.
These days Steph is focused on creating NAT courses for runners and those who work with runners, to better understand nutrition as it relates to performance, health and rehab.

Sonja Forster PT
Sonja Forster is a physiotherapist and certified yoga teacher who specialises in core and pelvic floor dysfunction and rehabilitation.
Originally from Munich, Germany, where she studied and started practicing physiotherapy, Sonja treats clients with orthopaedic pain and core and pelvic floor dysfunctions in her private practice.
In recent years Sonja has deepened her work in the sector of preventive women’s health.

Dr Elizabeth Wagner
Beth earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Puget Sound. She has also earned a certificate of competency in vestibular rehabilitation and is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.
In 2016 Beth took a one-year sabbatical to travel in South America and Asia, including volunteer assignments in Bhutan and Vietnam as a clinical and academic instructor for local physical therapy staff.

Bob McAtee LMT, BCTMB, CSCS
Bob is a Colorado licensed and board certified massage therapist. He began his massage career in 1981, specializing in sports and orthopedic massage therapy. Since 1988 he has maintained an active, international sports massage practice in Colorado Springs.
Bob is the author of two best selling books Sports Massage for Injury Care and Facilitated Stretching both published by Human Kinetics.

Steven Thomas MSc
Steven Thomas BSc (Hons) MSc MRCPOD is a Podiatrist based at the Harley Street medical district and is an honorary member of the Podiatric (foot and ankle) Surgery unit at Guy's NHS hospital, London.
Mr Thomas graduated with Honours in Podiatry and is a Master of Science. He has additional entitlements of prescription only medicines – administration (POM-A), and supply (POM-S).
He is also a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and the HCPC.

Dr Jason Miller PhD
Dr. Jason Miller has been involved with strength and conditioning and barbell sports over 25 years, either as an athlete, strength coach, or weightlifting coach, and now as a professor and researcher at the City of Oklahoma University.
Dr Miller is passionate about the movement sciences and all the practical ways that exercise and sport science can translate into improving the lives of others, whether through sports performance, rehab or health science.

Margaret Sinclair MSc (Ost)
Margaret is a trained sport massage therapist, osteopath, herbal practitioner, and published author.
Margaret received a BSc in Zoology from UCL and an MSc in Osteopathy from UCO in 2011.
Her work with patients includes herbal therapy, emotional freedom therapy, mindfulness and breathing techniques. Margaret also shares her knowledge and love of health and wellbeing through writing books and creating online content for NAT Global Campus.

Vern Tsing
Vern Tsing received his advanced level teaching certification from the world renowned Malaysian Association of Yoga Instructors (MAYI) Academy.
Vern creates classes that are designed to ease beginners into the fundamentals of yoga from the physical aspects (asanas) such as safe execution to proper awareness to body alignment and the incorporation of breath with movement to deepen self awareness, then over time slowly expand on different forms of Pranayama (Breathing techniques) and deeper rejuvenation through the practice of Yoga Nidra to elevate one’s practice.

Carolyn Greenhalgh BSc (Ost)
Carolyn began her career as a fitness instructor and subsequently trained for 2 years at the Northern Institute of Massage, qualifying in 1992 as a Remedial Massage Therapist.
Before embarking on her Osteopathic training, she worked in private practice as a Remedial Massage Therapist acquiring Cranio-sacral Therapy I and Cranio-sacral Therapy II with The Upledger Institute in 1994 and 1995, respectively.
Carolyn graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 1999 with a BSc in Osteopathy.

John Wilks MA RCST BTAA FRSA
John has been practising the Bowen Technique and Craniosacral Therapy full time since 1995.
He is a former chairman of the Bowen Association of the UK, the Craniosacral Therapy Association of the UK and the Cranial Forum, the lead body overseeing the national standards of practice for the profession in the UK. He is a former examiner for the University of Oxford examinations board and was an advisor on education and training for the Bowen Forum under the Prince of Wales' Foundation for Integrated Health.

Dr Matthew Booth PT
Matt Booth graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
Matt has also completed Level III in the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, a certification in Augmented Soft-Tissue Mobilization (The ASTYM™ System), and extensive training in Myofascial Release.
