Course Overview

This 5-hour CE/CPD webinar series introduces massage therapists to foundational somatic massage skills for labor support.

Delivered across two 90-minute live sessions, the course explores the physiology and stages of labor, supportive positioning, touch strategies for early and active labor, therapist body mechanics, safety considerations, and the importance of consent-based communication.

Participants will learn how pressure, rhythm, pacing, presence, and adaptability can help support comfort and nervous system regulation during labor, while also understanding the professional boundaries of massage therapy within the birth space.
