The Anatomy of Exercise & Movement serves as a bridge between biomechanics and exercise. Awareness of movement potential is the key to a healthy body and the prevention of injuries; this text allows the reader to help maintain health, weight, posture, strength, stretch, and performance skills.

The practice of sports, pilates, yoga, and dance is emphasized, providing a better understanding of how the body functions while being exercised. The author’s background in movement sciences has led to a deep interest in the ability of the body to care for and/or heal itself, specifically through knowledge of muscles and what they can do.
