Foundation of Myofascial Release (MFR) and IASTM

5 Hours CE/CPD | On-Demand Webinar Course with Chris Gellert

Myofascial Release (MFR) and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) are widely used techniques for addressing pain, restricted movement, and dysfunctional soft tissue and fascia.

Foundation of Myofascial Release (MFR) and IASTM is based on a completed three-part webinar series and is now presented as an on-demand course with lifetime access.

Presented by Chris Gellert, this course combines fascia science, trigger point principles, clinical reasoning, and practical demonstrations to help therapists integrate foundational MFR and IASTM techniques into professional practice.

Course Overview

The course introduces the principles behind MFR and IASTM, explains why the techniques are used, and demonstrates practical applications for the upper and lower body.

Students will explore assessment and treatment strategies alongside hands-on demonstrations, helping them understand how these approaches may support pain reduction, movement, and soft-tissue function.

The original webinar sessions have been recorded and organized as an on-demand learning experience. Students can study at their own pace and revisit the material with lifetime access.
