Técnica:
• Sentarse o arrodillarse en el suelo
• Haga que un compañero se pare detrás de usted
• Extienda ambos brazos detrás de usted
• Pídele a tu compañero que te agarre las muñecas y te ayude a extender los brazos más lejos
Músculos primarios: Pectoral mayor y menor. Deltoides anterior.
Músculos secundarios: Bíceps braquial. Braquialis. braquiorradial. Coracobraquialis.
Lesión donde el estiramiento puede ser útil: Dislocación. Subluxación. Separación acromioclavicular. Separación esternoclavicular. Síndrome de pinzamiento. Tendinitis del manguito rotador. Bursitis de hombro. Hombro congelado (capsulitis adhesiva). Rotura del tendón del bíceps. Tendinitis bicepital. Tensión de bíceps. Esguince de pecho. Inflamación de la inserción del músculo pectoral.
Nota: Trate de mantener las palmas de las manos hacia afuera y los brazos ligeramente por encima paralelos al suelo.
