NAT Instructors - Paul Townley
Paul Townley
Paul has spent much of his career treating elite athletes including long spells as Head Physiotherapist at Crystal Palace FC Youth Academy and Second Physiotherapist to the first team.
Prior to his move into elite sports, Paul worked for a number of years within the National Health Service as a Senior Physiotherapist and Clinical Educator as well as working within the private sector in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
Teacher
Paul's 20 years of teaching and mentoring include teaching and lecturing in universities and hospitals in the United Kingdom as well as teaching and consulting positions with the military.
Paul is the presenter of the NAT series "Clinical Assessment" which will be released as online CE/CPD and Diploma courses in July 2019.
Academics
Paul received his Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) at Brunel University, and received his MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine from Hertfordshire University where he also received a qualification as an ESP (Extended Scope Practitioner).
Paul is member of the Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the International Federation of Manipulative Therapy.
Awards
Paul is the holder of the prestigious Elsevier Science Prize for Commitment to Education.
