Hip Tips - Ely's Test
Ely's Test Explained - Stuart Hinds
Ely’s test is commonly used to assess tightness in the rectus femoris. In some purist circles it has become popular in recent years to discount the value of this test, based on the findings of some pretty minor research.
In my experience, the Ely's Test remains a useful tool and continues to be used widely and effectively by therapists, within elite sports and athletics.
