NAT Instructors - Michael Coffee
Michael Coffee
Michael Coffee, BCMT, MMP, NCBMT, is a Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist who practices medical massage, Swedish, deep tissue and myofascial trigger point therapy.
Massage Therapy
Michael was educated at the Jade Daniels Institute of Massage Therapy, Pueblo Community College, and Virginia Western Community College.
Michael first started to practice "massage" at home, in a bid to provide some pain relief to his mother, a long term sufferer with CRPS. In this way, Michael found his calling, and decided early on that he would make a career as a massage therapist.
Trigger Points
Through years of working in a busy, multi-disciplinary practice in Colorado, Michael developed a keen interest in trigger points and trigger point therapy.
After being recommended by a colleague to study the NAT technique for frozen shoulder, Michael began to adapt some of the trigger point protocols for the treatment of CRPS, with highly positive and consistent outcomes.
NAMTPT
In 2017, Michael was invited to present his approach to the treatment of CRPS at the 33rd Annual NAMTPT conference in Chicago.
Hobbies
Michael loves hiking, eating authentic Pueblo green chili, and spending time with his family and friends.
