Learning Objectives

1. Gain a basic understanding of the principles and techniques involved in assessing sports injuries, including history taking, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.
Identifying Common Sports Injuries:

2. Learn to recognise the symptoms common sports injuries, including ITB Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Lateral Elbow Strains, Shin Splints, and Bicep Brachii / Pec Minor Strain


3. Applying Treatment Modalities:
Understand the indications, contraindications, and techniques for applying various treatment modalities, including deep stroking massage, trigger point therapy, cupping, taping, and dry needling, to help effectively address sports injuries.

4. Developing Treatment and Rehabilitation Plans:
Learn how to develop individualized treatment plans for each sports injury based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines.
Implementing Rehabilitation Protocols:

5. Gain insight into the rehabilitation process for common sports injuries, including the development of progressive exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, and functional training to promote optimal recovery and return to activity.

6. Understand the importance of injury prevention strategies and patient education in reducing the risk of sports injuries, including proper warm-up techniques, biomechanical corrections, and lifestyle modifications.
Ethical and Legal Considerations:
