About Your Instructor

Josh Williams, LMT began his massage career on Maui, training in basic and advanced Lomi Lomi under Kumu Daniel Fowler at Lomi Lomi ‘Oluea (1999–2000). Kumu Fowler—who has been teaching between Maui and Europe since 1990—was trained by respected Kapuna and Kahuna including Abraham Kawaii, Uncle Kalua Kiahua, and Papa “K” Sylvester Kepelino.

Josh went on to complete 700 hours at Spa Luna School of Holistic Massage, earning Hawai‘i state licensure in 2001. With over 5,000 Lomi-inspired sessions performed across Maui, including private practice and work in leading luxury resorts, he now brings decades of experience into a clear, grounded teaching style. Josh is currently a doctoral candidate in Occupational Therapy at Hawai‘i Pacific University.
