The information and treatment techniques offered within our courses are designed specifically for qualified and licensed manual therapists, and other healthcare professionals. These courses are NOT SUITABLE for anyone else.
Taking any of theses courses does not grant you any form of license to practice manual therapy or other form of medical treatment or procedure. Do not practice any form of manual therapy unless it falls within your professional scope of practice.
Depending on where you practice, you may be required by law to meet certain criteria for practicing manual therapy, even if you are a qualified medical or healthcare practitioner. If you are not sure about the laws and regulations governing the practice of manual therapy in your area, you must make the necessary enquiries to ensure that you meet any and all requirements that may be in place. In order to qualify for NAT accreditation, you will need to be licensed to practice as a hands-on therapist, physical therapist, or qualifying healthcare worker or exercise professional.
This may include the following professions: Massage Therapist, Manual Therapist, Sports Massage Therapist, Physical Therapist, PTA, Occupational Therapist, OTA, Chiropractor, Osteopath, Medical Doctor, Athletic Trainer, Reflexologist, Nurse.
Requirements may differ for each course, and dependent upon the rules and regulations of your professional association or other regulatory body.
