Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
Define and differentiate the core concepts of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, including the Breath of Life, Primary Respiration, and its various expressions (Long Tide, Mid Tide, Cranial Rhythmic Impulse).
Explain the biodynamic perspective on relevant anatomy and physiology, particularly the fluid body, cranial bones, sacrum, dura mater, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), and fascia.
Cultivate a deep therapeutic presence characterized by inner stillness, neutrality, and non-doing, and understand its foundational role in BCST.
Develop refined palpation skills to accurately perceive, track, and differentiate the subtle rhythms and patterns of inherent health within the client's system.
Identify and work effectively with patterns of inertia and their relationship to the system's overall organization and the Breath of Life.
Understand the significance of the Stillpoint as a therapeutic phenomenon and learn how to create conditions for its emergence.
Apply principles of nervous system regulation, including insights from Polyvagal Theory, to foster safety, co-regulation, and support the client's self-healing.
Utilize effective resourcing and titration strategies for safely engaging with and supporting the resolution of held traumatic patterns in the body.
Confidently implement foundational hand contacts (e.g., occipital, sacral, feet, thoracic inlet) with a clear biodynamic intent, connecting each hold to the global expression of the system.
Formulate client-centered biodynamic intentions and skillfully track the unfolding process of a session, responding to the body's inherent wisdom.
Facilitate effective session integration and grounding for clients, ensuring lasting therapeutic outcomes.
Integrate essential practitioner self-care practices and recognize the importance of ongoing professional development, supervision, and ethical considerations in BCST practice.
